Turkies

Happy post-Thanksgiving hangover (the turkey-induced kind, not the alcohol variety, of course)! It's only noon and I've already finished off most of the leftovers.

To get the day kick-started, we ran around the ville for a good cause. Scott ran the 10K, I walked the 5K while pushing the pre-schooler and the pre-pre-schooler and Emily RAN the 5K! Really! My fast walking is as fast as her running so we were a perfect team.

We had a great time and are going to make it an annual tradition. Next year I think Emily's going to go for an age-group win. Look out Dawson!

I think Scott is dreaming of the turkey. It was goooood.

Now onto Christmas!

was that the Roseville Turkey Trot? I wanted to do that one, but my brother wanted to do the BIG one in Sacramento --- which he backed out last minute! It was WAY too crowded to even run. Very disappointing because I really wanted to RUN! Glad you guys had fun.

Congrats! I can get the kids and myself out, but I haven't managed to get Jake to a race yet. Some day . . .

This makes me want to get out and run. Why don't you come up for the 4th of July again and we'll do the 5K with the kids. We did it last year and it was great. Way to go Emily!! Very impressive!

OR come up in June for the Helvatia Half Marathon/10K Drop Top. Just a thought!
